Overnight Cold Oatmeal

Our Favorite Summertime Breakfast!

  • 2 Cups Organic Rolled Oat
  • 2 Cups Almond Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Yogurt or Nut Cream
  • Additions….
  • Slivered Almonds
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Frozen Berries, or bananas
  • Peanut butter
  • Chia Seeds
  • Cacao Nibs, Carob Chips
  • Cinnamon

Makes two large bowls

The night before mix together Oats, milk, berries and yogurt.  Set in the fridge and in the morning voila!



This is a UZ here.  We are so grateful for having our own chickens and farm fresh eggs everyday.  We mix this up everyday depending on what produce we have but our very favorite rendition is:

  • Avocado
  • Cucumber Kimchi or Kraut
  • Farm Fresh Egg
  • Almonds
  • Pepitas
  • Cilantro
  • Tomatoes
  • Feta

Basically we start our day with a salad with an egg on top.  Super satisfying, fiber, protein vitamins and probiotics

Rice and Raisins


During a cleanse this is what we have for breakfast, and on Bhakti Yoga Days.  This is sattvic food, food that brings you joy.

  • Basmati Rice
  • Organic Raisins or Craisins
  • Ghee
  • Almonds
  • Coconut
  • Cinnamon
  • and Himalayan Salt
  • Almond Milk




In the Instapot, cook steel cut oats as recommended and add shredded carrots raisins slivered almonds shredded coconut cinnamon vanilla pumpkin pie spice pumpkin seeds honey. Had left overs for lunch and added yogurt and cashews and grapes.

Breakfast Drinks


Every morning we drink our vitamins down with a mixture of half Kombucha and half OJ
